Seth and Emma's love story began in August of 2021 during a composition writing class at Beavercreek High School. Following a meaningful friendship, they officially started dating on January 8th, 2022. Their relationship endured a year of long-distance as Seth pursued his Mechanical Engineering degree at Ohio University while Emma remained in Beavercreek to finished her senior year.

In August 2023, Emma joined Seth at Ohio University, where she pursued her studies in Accounting. On April 27th, 2024, Seth proposed to Emma at Emeriti Park on Ohio University's campus.
